Meet the HR Team

Lydia Aguirre
Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources for both Idaho Housing and Finance Association and The Housing Company, Lydia develops and directs all facets of HR and payroll related activities to ensure business success and an engaged corporate culture. Lydia holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boise State University, and several HR related national certifications. Prior to IHFA, Lydia held progressive HR positions in the private sector for large national corporations. She currently serves on multiple HR related Boards in the Treasure Valley in Idaho.

Katie Shamy
Human Resources Generalist

Katie has been a part of the Human Resources department at Idaho Housing and Finance Association and The Housing Company since 2010 and has worked in the HR field for nearly a decade. She works in many areas of human resources at Idaho Housing, and loves the diversity that every day brings. Katie is a proud alumni of Boise State University with a BA degree in Human Resources Management. She holds the designation of PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and is an active member of multiple human resources organizations throughout the Treasure Valley. When asked what makes Idaho Housing a great place to work, Katie will answer (without hesitation): “Our employees – we have amazing people who work here!

Judy Randles
Payroll and Systems Support

A seasoned payroll professional with more than 30 years experience in payroll systems and administration, Judy started at Idaho Housing and Finance Association and The Housing Company in 2006. Before joining Idaho Housing, Judy was originally from California where she owned her own payroll service company. Since moving to the Treasure Valley area 21 years ago she has worked for some of Idaho’s largest companies, including Simplot, Boise, and PCA. Judy states “I have found my home here at Idaho Housing.”
