HUD Notice H01-02

The Housing Company, as an owner/manager of federally assisted multi-family housing sites, is required to comply with requirements of The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). One of those requirements is to notify all vendors, working with us at our federally assisted apartment communities, of the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Disability/Accessibility Provisions of the Fair Housing Act of 1988.

For the purpose of satisfying this notification requirement, HUD has issued Notice H01-02, which summarizes the provisions of the above referenced Acts in simple language.
