Katie Shamy
Senior HR Generalist

Katie has been a part of the Human Resources department at Idaho Housing and Finance Association and The Housing Company since 2010 and has worked in the HR field for nearly a decade. She works in many areas of human resources at Idaho Housing, and loves the diversity that every day brings. Katie is a proud alumni of Boise State University with a BA degree in Human Resources Management. She holds the designation of PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and is an active member of multiple human resources organizations throughout the Treasure Valley. When asked what makes Idaho Housing a great place to work, Katie will answer (without hesitation): “Our employees – we have amazing people who work here!

Micah Matthews
HR Generalist

Micah started with the Human Resources team at Idaho Housing and Finance Associations and The Housing Company in 2017. She is a BSU graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree. She is also a member of The Society for Human Resource Management. Micah came to IHFA after working several years on the HR team at an Idaho based, national company. Her favorite part of IHFA is “the size, I love that we have the opportunity to get to know everyone.”

Anna Teinert
HR Coordinator

Anna joined the Human Resource team at The Housing Company and Idaho Housing & Finance Association in 2019. She’s worked in the HR field for 5 years and has a Bachelor of Science degree from BSU. My primary focus as a member of the HR team is balancing employee needs with business goals, improving job performance, problem-solving effective solutions, and improving employee engagement.

Katie Pickens
HR Assistant

Katie joined the Human Resources team with Idaho Housing and Finance Association and The Housing Company in 2021. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Boise State University and is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to joining the team at IHFA, she spent five years working in HR in the retail and healthcare industries. Katie’s favorite things about IHFA are: how friendly all the employees are, you can tell that everyone really cares about each other, and it’s great knowing how much people love coming to work for IHFA!

HR Admin Assistant

Mariah started assisting the Human Resources team at Idaho Housing and Finance Association in 2021. She is a graduating BSU student with a Bachelor’s of Science degree. Her favorite part of IHFA is the friendly workplace environment and IHFA’s dedication to supporting Idaho communities.
