Christmas in Caldwell

Every year, Caldwell transforms into a winter wonderland from the weekend before Thanksgiving until the first week of January. Over one million holiday lights cover trees, buildings, bridges all over town, painting the city in a mesmerizing glow.

Children, families and couples skate under the lights on a huge outdoor skating rink. A singing Christmas tree stands tall on the corner of Indian Creek Plaza.

Sunny Slope is Idaho's Wine Country

The scenic region of Sunny Slope with its loamy volcanic soils, have a continental climate resembling European wine regions along the Danube.

17 wineries and vineyards are within Caldwell’s boundaries, and most offer engaging and enlightening tasting experiences.

In early August Indian Creek Plaza hosts the Sunnyslope Wine Trail festival, an extravaganza of great wine, delicious local food and live music.
